Inviting You to “A Year of Being Here”

By December 7, 2012February 24th, 2018No Comments

I’m excited to announce that beginning January 1, 2013, I’ll be publishing a daily “mindfulness poem,” usually by a contemporary or recent poet, at my new website, “A Year of Being Here.”

Mindfulness poems are exquisite lessons in being here now. They call us home to where we are, and help us abide there. They help us pay attention. They help us inhabit our lives instead of just going through the motions.

If you’d like a daily sip or slice of poetic encouragement to “be here now,” you can subscribe (for free) either by signing up to receive it via email or by liking the project’s Facebook page. Invite a friend to subscribe, too, and you can read along together!

Remember, “A Year of Being Here” launches on January 1, 2013. Please take a moment right now to subscribe so that you don’t miss a single serving of these wonderful poems. They are soul food for the journey.
